Meet Margot Dear, a true trailblazer in the user experience industry, with over 25 years of exceptional experience. With an MA in Design Management from the prestigious University of the Arts in London. She has worked her magic in both the UK and the US, collaborating with top-notch companies like Royal Mail, LexisNexis, Citrix, and ADP.

Gaydio Academy
Stevie will be mentoring via Gaydio at the Queer History Trust in King’s Cross on October 23rd, 2–4pm for an empowering interactive workshop designed for LGBTQ+ young people under 25. Led by Stevie, this session will explore how to use CVs and LinkedIn to build and share your career story with confidence.
Through real-life career journeys and open discussion, you’ll learn how to present your skills, highlight your strengths, and create visibility that attracts opportunities. Together, we’ll explore how LinkedIn can be used as your personal talent PR platform — helping you stand out to employers while staying true to who you are. By the end, you’ll feel more confident in interviews, more prepared to talk about your journey, and inspired to shape your future career path.

I’m super excited to share that I’ve been nominated for TechWomen4Boards’ “Empower Her” Award — such a delight and honour! 🌟
A huge hug and shout-out to all the incredible women in tech who’ve inspired this journey. From my wonderful mum (still deeply missed) who taught me that “we all go to the bathroom, babes — so we’re all the same” while working in our family fish & chip shop, to the hundreds of women stars I’ve met in digital and tech who’ve inspired me and whom I’ve been lucky enough to support.
